Information Overload

The world today is a very small place – it exists at our fingertips! We can choose to gather limitless information 24/7 and distract ourselves from ourselves, but at what cost? What happens each time we reach for that phone, laptop, computer? I believe we are drawn away from ourselves, our experience, our feelings. And that is okay, there is excitement, opportunity, connection, education … but where do we fit into the picture? Rapid technological advancements have influenced how we relate to ourselves, those around us and within the world. These are exciting times, but increasingly we are collectively experiencing greater anxiety, depression and disconnection. I believe our mental health and physical health is positively influenced by our awareness of who we are and how we connect with those around us. Becoming aware of ourselves, exploring our inner world while relating to the outer world is a journey of discovery. Are you ready?
