Something to Ponder

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change”

 Carl Rogers

Carl Rogers was a Psychologist who is credited with the development of Person-Centered Therapy and one of the early pioneers and contributors to Humanistic Psychology. What I appreciate about his contribution to the field of psychology is the significance he placed on the therapeutic relationship with clients, which included acceptance, genuineness and positive regard as the framework from which personal growth and change can evolve.
